<description>&lt;p&gt;sad to see it go, nearly 40 yrs. of my dad&apos;s life was spent there as a counterman. his regular customers which he talked about kindly,  called him pops.i went to see it today with my son which pops was never able to meet because he passed away.one more day and it will be gone.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;I used to live around the corner from the Munson Diner, and ate there nearly every day.  It was Hopper-esque, to say the least, and a true New York landmark. It&apos;s a real shame that it&apos;s gone.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
