Federal Baggage Screeners Stole From...Baggage
The Port Authority and Queens DA office teamed up to arrest four baggage screeners for stealing items from passengers' luggage. What's more, some of the victims were celebrities: Chevy Chase, Joan Rivers and Susan Lucci. Crap, Joan lost some QXC jewelry! Actually, the PA and Queens DA conducted a sting, with planted money and video cameras - it's totally going to be a plot point of the new NBC series, LAX. Bush steals from the taxpayers, why not his employees at the airports?
Good news. Maybe they'll track down the necklace that got stolen from my luggage in June, now.
