I'm guessing they expected about 20 people. Seriously. To begin with, this was not a "Festival" or even a "Block Party". It was more like a couple of folding tables and an stage for the band.

We arrived at around 1pm to a massively long line for the chili crab. The reason for the line? There was only one wok serving the food. Oh sure, you could get burgers and hot dogs at the other stand, but wasn't it supposed to be about chili crab? There should've been at least three table serving food spread out on the block. Didn't seem worth waiting 15 minutes for a small paper bowl of chili crab. we bailed for food elsewhare.

Then again, just like Gus Van Sant films, I always hope the next street festival I venture to won't suck, but somehow it always does.

David -- you're the second person I've heard from who had a frustrating day there. Hmmm. Perhaps they had more people than expected?

This event was a travesty, a sham, and a mockery. If you thought the bbq block party was disorganized, you have no idea.
