I can't stand the smell of subway bread!! It gets in my clothes and I can't get it out... totally makes me sick. That is supposed to make people hungry? Not me.. Die Scum!

They actually show Jared speaking at a grade school in "supersize me", and then show a little girl talking about how she can't lose weight because she can't afford to purchase two subway subs every day. It's very sad.

Quizno's is better, good thing they aren't being robbed. Although, even Quizno's, like Subway, has problems with some places being tastier than others. As for Jared, I saw a commercial last night where he just held up his fat pants. David

Maybe it's the bread smell that attracts the robbers. It's like bait on a trap. Maybe they should pump ammonia out into the streets. At least a lot of supers would come in for lunch.

That smell is from the ovens - the chains are deisgned to pump hot air & bread smell out on to the street, allegedly because it makes people hungry as they walk by. Oddly enough, the roommat & I were just talking about Jared last night - did you know that the terms of his contract with Subway state that a certain percentage of their menu has to be below a fat & calorie level suitable for dieting, they have to show him walking in every commercial (as that's how he lost the weight) & they pay him to travel to schools to talk to kids about eating less and exercising. You go, ex-fat guy!
