Consensus! Yesterday's maximum temperature in Central Park was 86 degrees. The consensus, or average, forecast was for a high of 86.6 F. Consensus almost always wins because the extremes cancel each other out. AccuWeather was too low, the Weather Service too high, and everyone else was bunched in between. This was fun, wasn't it?
