<description>&lt;p&gt;The whole idea of having the Republican (or any political convention, for that matter) in NYC is so entirely stupid.  Why put an already vulnerable city in potential danger?

Like we really need midtown paralysis, subways on high alert, re-routing of trains, traffic, etc. etc.
