Manhattanhenge, Take 2

The weather forecast doesn't seem to be agreeable (although some optimists tell us, "Shit, sunset's not for almost 9 more hours"), but it's important to note that today, like May 28, is the day that the sun sets parallel to our city's street grid, resulting in Manhattanhenge. If the rain prevails, enjoy this: Michael at Wacky Neighbor took some great pictures on May 28 of the sunset, including the one above, dodging traffic and people to capture the sunset.

Speaking of weather, Gothamist Weather has an mini-interview with the man who picks music for the Weather Channel, Steve Hurst. And Gothamist on Manhattanhenge.
