As a Yankee fan, I whole-heartedly agree. I went to the last two games and it was definitely an exciting series with a lot of back and forth scoring. I especially don't mind the loss so much since the effects of the game on the yankees and their standings in the AL East were minimal.

As for getting Wiggy with it, he definitely botched more than a couple of plays in the field and if I were the Mets brass I'd trade his arse while his bat is hot and bring up Wright, aka "the next Scott Rolen".

This was a great series. While being a Met fan, I can come out of it happier than the average Yankee fan, I think it's safe to say that the games were exciting. There were a fair share of fantastic plays, hard hitting, borderline calls, and lead changes.

And at the end of it all, the Yankee division lead is unphased, Shea stadium fans are finally starting to show some enthusiasm, Ty Wigginton is stating his case for remaining a Met, or just helping the Mets get a better trade with how well he's been hitting as of late, and the Mets are proving themselves more.
