http://www.nycrail.com/rollingstock/work/money_train.htm

provides great explanation.

btw, http://www.nycrail.com/ has a section called work trains which explains all the work trains ad nauseum....errrr....thoroughly.

The real money train is yellow. Here are some photos of both the real one and the movie version: http://www.nycrail.com/rollingstock/work/money_train.htm

there is the money train (sleek silver, no?) and the garbage train (old, yellow). . .i don't know of any other non-passeger trains, though i'm sure they exist. all i do know is that any time of day, early, late, you name it, if i'm in a station there's a garbage train -- it's uncanny. most people only see them late at night, me, they follow! (please no comments on what that might mean)

in other news, couldn't someone have shot through their duffle bag? on purpose?

What is a money train? I have seen a lot of non-passenger trains of different types. What are all of these trains?

Yeah, but I'd go to see Snipes, Harrelson, and Eva Mendez...

That, and what qualifies as an action movie nowadays? Vin Diesel playing an ex-convict? Ben Affleck? I think I just threw up in my mouth...

Mike C: Sssshhhhhhhh. Some of us have been enjoying the respite from Stoned White Men Can't Act movies. Let's not give anyone any ideas.

What happened to those Snipes/Harrelson/latina-of-the-month movies anyway? But seriously, how does a slow moving train not cause you serious injury?
