I, Bjork Robot

Gothamist didn't think of it because we were too distracted by "Why would we go see this movie?" type thoughts, but, luckily, both Drew's Script-o-Rama and low culture tackled how the robots in I, Robot, the upcoming Alex Proyas (Dark City) film, look very much like the robot Bjork in her All Is Full Of Love video, directed by Chris Cunningham. Gothamist has seen the trailer for I, Robot a couple of times now, and think that the Will Smith film would benefit from a little Bjork - Bridget Moynahan is pretty boring. And Bruce Greenwood, are oily bad guys now your milieu?

Check out Fox's page that "sells" robots. And Cunningham's prolific video work is out on DVD, on the Directors Label. Dark City is pretty good, but the DVD is amazing.

There's a humorous assessment of Bruce Greenwood's oeuvre at http://www.fametracker.com/hey_its_that_guy/greenwood_bruce.shtml . The site also has some entertaining profiles of other great character actors.

Thanks go to Jen, I think, for originally making me aware of fametracker.
