Today's Times has a picture of Sylvester Stallone carrying the torch in LA yesterday. Is the torch being run across the country in three days?

wow, tom cruise really does look flaming in that photo. and i think the organizing committee should have had all new yorkers line the streets and just pass the torch down the line. how cool (and impossible) would that have been?
