Also see the utterly charming Lost in Transit, based on the same story.

i personally like when Kumar and Applejack pay no attention whatsoever as Owen Wilson runs up the stairs during the heist yelling....."Kumar...Kumar!"...into the walkie talkie....also...."Bob gets the spirit award!"

Personally, I like the car crash in Royal Tennenbaums.

Royal Tenenbaum's epitaph: Royal O'Reilly Tenenbaum (1932-2001) Died Tragically Rescuing His Family From The Remains Of A Destroyed Sinking Battleship

i like the do-nothing rope trick he does in rushmore and when he slowly backs away with rake in hand from the momentum driven bentley.

My favorite Kumar line is Mr. Littlejean in Rushmore: "Best play ever, man." And the line from the knifing in Royal Tenenbaums: "You son of a bitch!"

Kumar rules! Best Kumar scene is in 'Bottle Rocket' when, during the robbery, Owen Wilson opens the door to the office to see how safecracker Kumar is doing with the safe and finds Kumar simply sitting on the sofa, doing nothing.

Second-best: same scene sequence, on elevator ride down during escape, Kumar saying, "I blew it, man."

This is comment above is not on topic, so it's going to be deleted soon.

Kumar's laugh in Rushmore is pretty great, too. He's very good at scene-stealing.

"Jake Dobkin, Gothamist Publisher"

I'm glad that Gothamist has now finally interviewed itself. Great work landing this interview Jake and Krucoff.

Look down, you know what you see? That a shark. And Gothamist has officially jumped it!
