odd? that sounds normal for NYC. As a Red Wings fan, I do indeed remember the sweet taste of a hometown team winning the Cup. Good to know that NYC and Detroit did much better with their parades than Tampa Bay.

After Game 7 ended, my friend and I rushed down to MSG on our rollerblades. We could hear the roar starting at Times Square, and when we got down to MSG it was complete and total chaos. Thousands of people out on 7th Avenue just going completely nuts. I'll never forget seeing a girl repeatedly flash anyone who would look, including a police car. She just kept lifting up her shirt and pulling down her pants. So odd!

I remember the '94 Stanley Cup like it was yesterday. When the Rangers were playing in Vancouver they opened up the Garden for people to come watch the game on the big screens, and you could sit anywhere you want. It was madness! I remember us chanting "what the fuck's a canuck!?" all night. Then the night they won the Cup I was in Staten Island. Everyone drove to Hylan Blvd, stopped in the middle of the road, and partied all night. Good times! /counting the years to 2040 when we bring it home again!
