Was Whoopi Goldberg's show renewed? I was finally getting in to it.

Although it is still listed on the NBC website, the dreadlocked comedienne's show was indeed cancelled. That may be bad news for you, Shelia, since Ask Gothamist can't imagine that "Whoopi: The Complete First Season" will be released on DVD anytime soon, but it's even worse news for the show's writers and production staff. "Whoopi" was produced at Kaufman Astoria Studios in Long Island City.
