I think Pier 88 is 1 pier North of the Intrepid. I visited the ships last year and there were separate lines to see the Intrepid and the ships docked alongside her and to see four other ships docked at a normal cruise ship pier. Actually, I forgot about fleet week until I saw an old wooden ship in the East River today and then I got all excited about the ships. Sadly, I can't find out any info about the wooden ship online but it was the old mast type one and was flying an American flag in case anyone has the info.
