ASK GOTHAMIST WANTS YOU!

It's not easy answering questions from confused New Yorkers. It's also not easy given the working conditions here at Gothamist. Our lack of windows, bathroom breaks and health insurance notwithstanding, we do our best to give advice when asked, hoping to steer people in the right direction whether it's out of the arms of a cheating lover or into a chair at a tattoo parlor.

Now we need your help. Ask Gothamist is looking for a new columnist to join our ranks. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to be an authority on all things New York, be it love, sex, food, renting an apartment, movies, theater, politics, ethics or the best place to hail a cab.
