Manchester United, the Yankees of soccer, won the FA Cup yesterday, defeating Millwall 3-0. United's first-year keeper, Tim Howard, was the first American to win an FA Cup. Despite the shutout, Howard didn't have a single shot to stop. ManU goals came from Cristiano Ronaldo in the 44th minute and Ruud van Nistelrooy with goals at 65 and 81 minutes. The FA Cup is awarded to the best team in England and was United's first cup since 1999. Earlier this year, Manchester United lost to Arsenal in the Premier League title game and early on in the Champions League.

Manchester United comes to the United States this summer, playing exhibition games in Chicago, Philadelphia, and New Jersey. They play July 31st against A.C. Milan at Giants Stadium. Tickets are still available through Ticketmaster.
