Needless to say, I didn't stop to ask any questions. Funny thing about the Post making a big deal about Getter's copy of the paper saving his life. The Times seemed to think that it was the bulletproof vest he was wearing that did most of the protecting: Mr. Getter's injuries could have been much worse, since the assailant tried to stab him in the chest, the police said. But as an unarmed guard, Mr. Getter was wearing a bulletproof vest, which blocked the knife.</p>
