Gothamist had become pretty bored with Metafilter. That is, until this post sprang up Sunday night. Outside of The Wizard of Oz, it's probably the closest you'll get to seeing a tornado consume an entire house whole. Turn up the audio and listen to the storm chasers freak!

But the real score was at the bottom of the thread: the link to Stormtrack.org and the Mr. T's Storm Chase School instructional comic, which is weirdly more informative than it first appears. As Mr. T says, "It's a strange thing, fool. It's the subtleties that make or break the chase day. And how you gonna get that from some computer model?"
