I whould like to know if Third Watch will be on this fall new line up. I love Third Watch it is my all time favorite series. Will it still be on friday at 9:00 PM?

A friend whose taste is generally acceptable saw the entire first "Joey" episode this week (at some NBC-related event) and said it was actually okay... she's not even a big Friends fan, so maybe they're some hope.

i agree the british version of the office was the best thing, it should not be toyed with. there is no way it will be funny if they americanize it.

Did NBC not learn their lesson with Coupling? Bringing The Office to American prime time is just a waste. There is no way that it will compare to the original. "Our" version of Coupling was a boring unfunny dumbed-down-for-Americans imitation. These shows rely on timing, dialogue and reactions/chemistry - not a laugh track. I dunno, if they didn't make it some show for everyone -- kept it mildly offensive and didn't clog it up with American worries and "oh, we can't offend this group or that group" mentality it could be ok -- but it will probably just end up as a 3 week bit of fluff that no one watches. ::sigh::

How funny, I just watched Margaret Cho's "I'm The One That I Want" for the first time the other day. And lo and behold, in the space of three days I see a trailer for a madcap comedy featuring John Cho and an Indian guy, and now a new TV show with John Cho. Crazy. He's a force of nature, look out.
