Bad Parents Are Ones Who Let Their Daughters Intern In Albany

2004_05_parentaladvisory.jpg

"Any father who would let his daughter be an intern in the state Legislature should have his head examined." - Albany District Attorney Paul Clyne, on "revelations" that the State Assembly is a hotbed of politicians looking for some intern action, after the intern incident with Harlem Assemblyman Adam Clayton Powell 4th. Gothamist is impressed at DA Clyne's fighting words (plus we're intrigued by his exclusion of mothers from the equation of parenting, but maybe he's just trying to appeal to fathers' knowledge of how middle-aged men are dogs), as well as how he told the Post "that problem is that most state lawmakers have no real responsibilities and therefore have too much time on their hands." Exactly. And good luck getting any funds from the state next year, Clyne!

Pretty sure we all know who this Post blind item is: "WHICH lusty local lawmaker has his own "love boat" - a yacht onto which he invites young women to ply them with liquor and try to enlist them in onboard orgies" Nice boat you got there Clayton.
