d'oh! correction noted. i linked to house.gov, should've been obvious. i tend to like Rangel, too, and i understand the theory behind pushing the draft issue (like, "let's see if these war hawks put their money where their mouth is," etc). on the other hand, the idea of a draft scares the bejesus out of me.

sorry, i don't mean to be oblique...republican senator chuck hagel introduced the bill to reinstate the draft, and NY democratic senator charlie rangel signed on. does that help?

I'm a bit confused. Who is Senator Chuck Hagel? Don't you mean Rangel? Am I missing some kinda inside joke?
