Gothamist: There's a Train For Us

For the past year since I moved to NYC I've been trying to get fiends to confirm that they, too, heard the tune each time we're in the subway. I thought I was imagining things or that it was a fluke the first time, and then I just thought I was going crazy when no one else heard it. Now, just two weeks before I'm set to leave the city and move once again, my suspicions are validated and I am reassured of my sanity. By the way, isn't the third note an octave above where it would be in the melody? I was wondering if this was why some people had trouble hearing the tune.

I thought I was crazy everymorning when I heard that from the 2-3! Amazing, I'm not the only one! It's such a pretty song too.

fascinating! once they start taking requests, i'm going to ask them to play "Ana Ng" on the breaks of the L Train, in homage to Williamsburg best band, They Might Be Giants.
