Gothamist fan, I'm glad you're not going to worry about the innerworkings of Gothamist's conceit, because you'll just remain confused. But for the record, Jake, Hilton, and I did go to college together. We hang out together a lot too. It's as simple (or not!) as that.

Were you all in the same college, having the same self-defense instructor? Or this: "When Gothamist was wee, there was nothing we liked better than learning about New York." Or this. Here Gothamist is an it... "Gothamist was glad that IT wasn't asked to speak, as the primary motive for going was to see Courtney, who is working on Dean's national campaign." Anyway, this will be my last post on this topic.... I can live with the confusion over who Gothamist is. P.S. I've never had a marshmallow peep, but they certainly seem friendly -- almost ... too friendly ...

Hmmm. Scrolling down today's entries, am I the only one who noticed the rather disturbing similarity between Kathy the Beluga Whale (RIP) and the giant Peep on top of the Peep Bus? :P
