Gothamist: NYC's Olympic Bid Logos Spoofed

Can your artist spoof the OLYMPIC bid with a logo of planes hitting the twin tower looking 2012 official logo. Let's talk about Homeland Security as protecting our homes from people like Doctoroff pushing eminent domain in Brooklyn and the West Side. Also, talk about a target for terrorist. Do they think that all the enemies of America will be taken out by 2012? Come on, there is a lot more spoofing here. How about all those resources being thown at the Olympic bid? No libraries, no schools, no firehouses, no hospitals, just a city with one stadium after another! You guys have a lot of work to do.

Looking at the logo now, I'm wondering if the original's green and blue blocks were supposed to be an oblique homage to the Twin Towers... Or is that just a New Yorker syndrome where we start seeing towers where they used to be or never were?

Humor aside, its actually a better logo from a design standpoint. The composition is more balanced, and the imagery relates to the typography better.
