oh, ok. so where and exactly when does tom vaught tend bar? a girl's gotta know. have you ever read those ridiculous end page interviews in vanity fair with strictly b- list celebs? they get months to dream up a bunch of dopey answers to a bunch of dopey questions and still are only un -funny and pretentious. tom's quick sense of humor is not lost on me, let's get together ladies and get this guy famous. it is our duty as new yorkers, and, well..... ladies.

oh i do love the taunting, both ways. maybe my biggest weakness. it's all kosher though, as long as you're talking about me then my ego has no problem whether it's good or bad. but i warn ya, don't mess with this bartender. he'll fuckin' cut you man!!! but seriously, my mom *loves* these interviews and she's not a blogger. case closed. While DJ Dr. Truth Teller is a bit harsh, he/she is right on the money. These interviews stink. The subjects stink. The format stinks. The reason there is so much supposed praise is that bloggers love when other bloggers write about bloggers. And in the great scheme of things, bloggers are quite a small group and much less important than their ego filled postings will ever admit. All these interviews prove is that there is a mutual admiration society of blogging cheerleaders and that Krucoff and other writers have painfully fragile egos when it comes to other people criticizing their work.

While this bartender seems like a good guy and all, you, as the moderator, have the skills of a shrink on methadone. Ask something more interesting than the questions they use to screen short-bus riders from the shop kids.

For a long time my Mother had no email, yet Tom and her are quite different. I don't think we can really draw any conclusions about people who haven't got e-mail, except that they like Martini's with a twist.
