Hilton and the Horse

2004_03_parishi.jpg

Apparently, while filming the sequel to the smash "The Simple Life," Paris Hilton was thrown from a horse while shooting. The diva of bad home movie judgement was airlifted to a hospital on the Gulf Coast. It turns out she didn't even come close to being the next Christopher Reeve -- she came out with no serious injuries. The possible jokes about the incident seem too many to mention, but Gothamist likes the money quote from the TV studio's spokesman. "Whenever you're dealing with talent, you always want to be extra careful." And with her skills, such caution she deserves to receive.

She's a no-talent slut, that's all there's to it. Seriously, she'd be better off studying business management in NYU and going into the family's hotel industry.

JOKES off the top of my head

1> If you were the horse, you'd throw her off too!

2> If she wasn't injured, it must be because she fell on her head

3> Hilton must have been excited to be called "talent" for the first time

4> Of course she fell off- she's never driven a vehicle in her life!

The next Christopher Reeve? Um, is it just me, or could joking about quadriplegia be just a tad -- insensitive?

  • Two things struck me here: one, the indiscriminate use of the word talent, and second, the fact that if Paris would get a little more "cushionage" back there, she might have just walked away unscathed.

    no sense, no pain

  • When I saw that headline, I first wondered if another another video had surfaced...this one much more kinky than the last.

but frankly, kind of hard to laugh at anyone who's been thrown from a horse, given what could happen.
