Two More Days of Winter

Janice Huff says there's going to be up to 7 inches more snow tomorrow. Bah! Well, maybe Gothamist shouldn't be so cranky about trudging through snow that will turn to disgusting slush. Maybe we should take a note from some enterprising Park Slope resident who decided to bring some fun into people's day by asking them to help build a snowball:

Snow Grow; Photo: callalillie

callalillie, who captured it, says, "A Collaborative and Cooperative Snowman Grows in Brooklyn." Maybe every neighborhood should try this. There would be a Chelsea boy snowman, a snowhipster with black framed glasses in Williamsburg, a snowmatron with rat snowdog in snowpurse on the Upper East Side...

Hah! I almost took a photo of that last night!

Why doesn’t it snow next week AFTER my Spring Break so they can cancel my classes??
This is obviously a conspiracy by Janice Huff to spoil my fun. She's somehow seeding the clouds

Take a newer picture! At noon today it was a formidable snowman.

uh, if you follow the link, there are several pictures.

The snowman's two blocks from my apartment. It was half-melted when I walked home this afternoon. Maybe after the new snow, it'll sprout new appendages.

You can see the entire progression from snowball to snowman here.
