prom. let me tell you about this (sometimes) girl-blogger's prom experience (or non-experience, as the case may be). i went to an all-girls school - that meant we asked the guys. My junior year i asked SEVEN, that's right, i was turned down SEVEN times for a variety of reasons. i can't even remember some of the guys' names, but whenever i say that my best friends jump to the rescue with a collective memory. the night of my junior prom i spent at the mall with my cousin and her best friend trying on prom dresses!!!! (a little masochism never hurt a sixteen year old) and now, i have a great job, i'm engaged to be married and the blog to which i contribute is being featured on an major market alternative radio station in SF. http://www.1115.org/archives/000313.html (a little self-promotion never hurt a twenty something) Screw the prom. HAving purchased a print edition of the Daily News I can report these things: - There's a great picture of Blaise, Elizabeth, and Meg (full page) before the whole "Thersday" (yes, Thursday is the day for women) section. - There's an eh picture of me (my profile is weak) but on the upside, Otori-San looks amazing. - The only other article on the page has a HUGE picture of Fabio. Hot!
