Prince & Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, the White Stripes, these were all committed performances that reminded us that there are still musicians/ artists at the Grammys. They sang, they danced, live, seemed excited to be on stage. Just seeing artists vibrant with passion made last night's grammy worth. Ok, even lil' Justin was cute as he was trying so hard to be a big man.

Grammys = lame. The little bits of the telecast I saw were the most contrived, uninspired television I had ever seen. Putting Sean Paul on stage with Sting? What bet did Sting lose, and to whom?! The Grammys need to get over its multi-generational marketing strategy. Putting older and younger musicians on the same stage doesn't play to a wider demographic. It simply ruins what would have been a decent song.

One of the stagehands forgot to put the muzzle on her before she went on stage, so they freaked out and turned off her mic instead.
