The New York Times Magazine gives the new generation of hackers the heroin chic treatment by having Ryan McGinley photograph them. As someone pointed out about McGinley's work, "It's cool but yeah... everyone ends up looking like CK druggies who didn't make the cut."

That 'Hackers' movie has just about 0% h4x0r street cred. It's nice that the nyt is trying to use hackers to seem slightly cool after they decided to put Lamo in jail, bastards.
