Bunuel and Dali at Film Forum

More about Bunuel and Dali. Destino, a short film co-written by Dali, is also nominated for a best animated short Oscar.

  • Yeah, because Dali was so well known for avoiding anything to do with making money. Bound to ruin him.

  • Is it widely known that Salvador Dali, among his many works, also produced the logo for a brand of lollipops called "Chupa Chups"?

They probably keep that secret, because it would detract from the reputation, to know that he went "corporate".

"Chien" is one of the greatest surrealist films (short or long) I've seen. It's inventive, incredibly funny, and it makes "Mulholland Drive" look like "Melrose Place". d'Or is a real disappointment after "Chien", though. I'd bark like a dog to see "Chien" again.
