Under $110 is Tax Free This Week

If you've lost your umpteenth pair of gloves (or umpteenth right one, leaving you with six left ones) or scarf, go buy one this week as it's tax free week for purchases under $110. The next one is during Labor Day, so take advantage of the deals this week. The city would like to eliminate the sales tax for items below $110 while Governor Pataki would rather have four weeks (versus the current two) weeks of tax free shopping for items under $500. Just make a decision, people, please.
