Haven't been there yet, but a lot of the reviews say Sueno, here in Chelsea, is "la bomba."

I'd ask you to be my guest there one night, Jen, but only if you promised not to put nachos up your nose...

The best guacamole in the city is at Etats-Unis on the Upper East Side. Absolutely.

Dos Caminos, a Mexican and Tex-Mex venue located at 475 West Broadway, has a tasty guac. that comes in 3 different spice intensities and is made fresh to order.

San Diego County produces half the nation's avocado, but we rarely seem to exist in the national news media. It's so bizarre. Even the fires in October had us called "Southern California".

Alma in Brooklyn. Near Cobble Hill but on the other side of the BQE. I think the guac is made by the setting. Great views of Manhattan and a rooftop dinning area in good weather. Duck breast is spetacular, so is the Mole.
Guac is served in the ubiquitous 'stone' bowl like in your picture....not too smooth....not too chunky.
