Forget trying to revitalize Newark - the Nets decide to move to Brooklyn (though not officially for two years). The Knicks organization will probably be making phone calls all through the night, mulling over various improvements they should make to Madison Square Garden.

Eminent Domain at its finest.

Hey I got kicked out of a room at 41st and 8th due to eminent domain (courtesy New York Times), and I'll be the first to admit that me being kicked out was a good thing for the better of the city.

Jake if you had lived in Brooklyn a really long time you wouldn't allow your fine associates to refer to UTB as DUMBO.

I understand that the contract stipulates that Brooklyn must be renamed Jersey and/or cede to New Jersey.
