Cool New York

New York is a winter wonderland of sorts, with Cool New York, a three week extravaganza of events from various cultural groups in all the boroughs. The Mayor announced Cool NY by saying, "All these events showcase the unparalleled diversity that makes New York City the coolest place in the whole world." NY1 points out that the event, which runs from January 9 to February 2, coincides "with NYC & Company's annual Paint the Town Winter Celebration." Heather Graham helped Mayor Bloomberg announce Cool New York. They are standing next to an ice sculpture by Ice Fantasies in Brooklyn; funny, we would call Graham's acting and the Mayor's delivery more wooden than icy, but whatever.

Also the high point of the otherwise boring "Anger Management" was Heather in Red Sox underwear screaming with brownies (or whatever they were) all over her face.

Who needs acting in this day and age? I have enough drama in my life already ;)

I've been told that it wasn't acting... I've heard similar stories with thats how she got roles in the first place, that she has the experence. But that could just be a rumor started by someone who she shot down when they tried to hit on her.

Heather Graham is a very nice person (based on the time we said hello to each other), but her acting...mmm, well, I think she does dumb very well (note: Bowfinger). But other stuff...ack. Her voice becomes very shrill.

But, hey, no one's disagreeing with the Mayor being wooden!

I'll refrain from commenting on Heather's acting. But she is a pretty woman.
