Subway Train Piercing

The MTA welcomed people back to work in the New Year with no service on the 2/3 line this morning. A "piece of metal pierced the underside" of an uptown 2 train leaving 96th Street. NY1 reports that the metal might have been a piece of rail and WNBC says that the metal pierced the front seat of the car. There were no injuries, except for the self induced hysteria being trapped on a subway for an hour on Monday morning can cause.
