Maybe you should know better by now, but in case you do have a hangover today, the Daily News gives some suggestions to relieve your hangover, like Hangover Helper, different facial masks and eye gels, and teeth whitening strips. Some bartenders give their expert suggestions as well, which range from the sensible (water, Vitamin E) to the logical (a few beers) all the way to the gross (pickles followed by milk).
Gothamist's hangover remedy involves, if vomitting hasn't already occured, a combination of water, aspirin, crackers, Nickel's Lendemain de fete/Morning After Gel, realizing that we forgot part of the evening, seeing evidence of our trangressions, weeping and the TV on mute. What works for you?

My roommate in college (who, one could say, knew a thing or two about drinking) swore that the best remedy he had found was taking a multi-vitamin, drinking a large glass of water, and eating a piece of bread right before going to bed/passing out cold.
I've heard that Gatorade is the right liquid beverage to use when trying to rehydrate.
I personally rely on orange juice and Advil Liqui-Gels...
There's also, of course, RU-21, the anti-hangover pill...
i like a big glass of water, an hour of vomiting, and then passing out on the floor of the bathroom covered in used towels. upon waking, i usually start slow- maybe a glass of ginger ale and some jello. do not- i say- do not attempt to eat two "low-fat pudding snacks". that spells doom.
I rely on a few pills "imported" from Canada.
chocolate milk. no joke. bust open a yoohoo.
alternatively, a bloody mary.
Greasy foods, OJ, bloody mary ... all of which I desperatly need but don't have right now, 1:40 pm and I just woke up, ouch.
Water before bed. And then stay there.
Chocolate shakes....I find that any combo of sugar and fat works, but the cold of a shake helps the stomache thing and a good brain freeze can help the head thing.
Alka Seltzer Morning Relief is the only way to go.
I wouda thought 'morning after gel' was
a spermicide before I clicked oon the link.
I'm finding that the hangovers have escalated quite dramatically since I turned thirty so much so in fact that prevention is the only thing that works. I blame my turncoat liver as it has obviously joined in with the hangovers after years of abuse from me. Once I regain the ability to eat, usually after sleep, I find that something greasy is good for coating the toxic surface of my stomach.
My New Year's Day tradition is to order General Tso's Chicken in the mid-afternoon (after a morning of moaning/puking/whatnot) and to wash that down with some ginger ale or lemony seltzer water. These should be consumed whilst wearing sweats while watching "I Love the 80s/I Love the 80s Strikes Back" on VH1.
Anything, foodwise, that involves kimchee. That spicy lovin' takes the edge off, quick. And an ice cream float. All better, and ready for more more more by happy hour. And a glasss of sangria with lunch doesn't hurt either.
