Year End Law & Order News

Stephanie March and Bobby Flay
Even though Gothamist finds Bobby Flay irritating in the extreme, we do wish him and Stephanie March well. The NY chef tells the Post about his proposal to the former Law & Order Special Victims Unit A.D.A. Alexandra Cabot (way to self–promote, Bobby). Flay did one of those public proposals: At center ice of Rockefeller Center, which would be cute if it weren't Bobby Flay (blech).

As a chaser, reader Janelle let us know that in James Brady's column in Crain's NY writes, "Top local actor, Jerry Orbach," in his yearly wrapup. While Gothamist wholeheartedly agrees, Brady's column is freakishly like Larry King's USA Today column. Even though these are parodies, Shtick and the Observer pretty much capture what King's column was.

Gothamist on Stephanie March leaving SVU and our favorite seen–it–all cop portrayer, Jerry Orbach.

Speaking of which, found this Jerry Orbach story on tvtattle.com:

  • it's ugly out there

No doubt you'll be covering these turks again when you see they're serving 'cue at the wedding.

Sterling, I know you loved the mixing of the sands during Trista and Ryan's wedding. But my fear with public proposals is what if the girl wants to "think about it." On the other hand, Jason Sehorn did propose to Angie Harmon on The Tonight Show.

  • There's no point in doing something like that in public unless you can offer exclusive access to a tabloid TV show.

Probably he got the idea from Trista's wedding. My motto: Never productize a sacrament.

  • damn, another one bites the dust. first abby and now alex? can't jason sehorn and bobby flay find some "normal" women so us "normal" guys can have a chance with law and order über-babes?
