When Dylan McKay Met Willow Rosenberg

Luke Perry and Alyson Hannigan

Answering the desperate need to see a Nora Ephron screenplay acted out live, it looks like everyone's favorite brooding bad boy (of the mid 90s), Luke Perry, and everyone's favorite lesbian witch/band camper, Alyson Hannigan, will play Harry and Sally in the London stage version of When Harry Met Sally. According to the Hollywood Reporter, previews begin Feb. 10 and the play opens officially Feb. 20 at the Theatre Royal, with a scheduled 16 week run. Gothamist is fond When Harry Met Sally, if only for how lovely New York looks, but if You've Got Mail goes legit, we'll know judgement day is near.

Cheap flights to London: $199, from Intratours.

This is very weird casting. Harry is a very "Jewish" character (Woody Allen rip off). Are they just going to shift personalities, so that Luke has the WASPish Sally hang-ups and Alyson has the Harry neuroses? That would almost be interesting.

Anyway, I blame The Producers for this.
