Gothamist has always felt "heavier" (which means "normal" outside of Hollywood) Renee Zellweger was a much better alternative than the scary skinny Renee (over aerobicized arms, bony back). So when we saw her on the Late Show with David Letterman, we were very happy. Renee was basically poured into a red dress and stunned Dave, who said she should wear that every year for the holidays. Here, here. She was kind of incomprehensible and weird during the interview, but that's another story.
whatevs.org agrees Renee looks better like this. Hopefully, at some point, everyone will stop obsessing about her weight and looks and focus on her acting, but till then, here's the skinny vs. healthy Renee comparison by iBlog/Jingle Blog.
Renee Zellweger's film roles; she's currently filming Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason.

she really looks lovely, but yes, she's a strange interview... the fake black eyelashes she wears seem to not let her eyes open that widely.
Ooooh, enlarged image popup on Renee, thanks! Couldn't really see the detail of her "healthiness" and that helped.
Anyone see MadTV last week? They had a skit about what what Renee wanted for Christmas, was to stop twitching, blinking and squinting.
I grew up mad about Tatum O'Neal. Renee recalls all those memories and then some. She makes my leg jerk like a happy dog.
IIRC, she did the entire interview while speaking in an English accent (so she can maintain it during filming).
Hear, hear!
