A few things that shows Jets legend Joe Namath's liberated attitude about women: He wore pantyhose in a 1974 Beautymist commercial. He made wearing a fur coat and sunglasses on sidelines popular. And he considers ESPN sideline interviews fair game to hit on women, especially when they are interviewing him. During the Jets-Patriots this part weekend, ESPN's Suzy Kolber was interviewing Namath when he leaned in and said, "I want to kiss you." Kolber deflected it, probably thinking it was a non sequiter, by saying, "Thanks, Joe. A huge compliment." But Namath repeated later, "I want to kiss you," which saw Kolber ending the interview by tossing back to ESPN's football commentators. Classy, Joe. Real classy.

Joe's seen tonguing this chick outside the Ivy in a recent ep of "Celebrities Uncensored." It's totally gross.
I saw this interview live. At first I was wondering if Namath had a stroke or was sick, because his speech was very slow and slurred and he didn't seem "all there." Then, after the kissing thing, I realized he just must have been really really wasted.
He's known to have a drinking problem...
Non sequiter? Actually, non sequitur.
i think it was a combination of broadway joe having a couple of extra egg-nogs in the jet hospitality suite, in order to stay warm and fuzzy inside, while standing on the cold sidelines outside during the game...
