What Not to Do When You Steal Digital Cameras

Let this be a lesson to all would–be Wal–Mart thieves: If you're going to steal $2,000 worth of digital camera equipment, don't take your accomplice take pictures of you and leave them on the cameras. James Stissi was arrested after authorities watched surveillance footage of a thief who robbed a Centereach, Long Island Wal–Mart late November. The surveillance footage was crappy, but when authorities saw that a woman took a picture of her companion, Stissi, the gig was up. Authorities made his picture public, tips ran high, and police arrested Stissi for grand larceny. Gotta love the art of police work.
