Diddy Does Broadway

Now that he's conquered gun possession charges, fashion, making money off his dead friend's memory, Making the Band wannabes, and the New York City Marathon, P. Diddy is going to Broadway, in a revival of "A Raisin in the Sun." The production will open in mid–April, and producers are looking to experienced stage actors to appear alongside the theater novice Sean Combs. While P. Diddy's official acting experience is limited to basically playing himself in Made and playing a murderer in Monster's Ball, don't underestimate the Diddy. Gothamist wonders if his manservant Farnsworth Bentley will play the little known role of "Manservant" in the production.

Read A Raisin in the Sun. And the PD won a New York Award this year from NY magazine, seemingly in part because of his Bad Boys 2 soundtrack...um, whatever!

Okay new respect... A Raisin In the Sun is one of my all time favorite plays... Wow...

Though I still love the joke about P. Diddy doing well in the NYC Marathon because B.I.G. was chasing him...
