Some Places Frances McDormand and Steve Buscemi Like

In the Post's latest "My Favorite Place," two of Gothamist's favorite actors, Frances McDormand and Steve Buscemi, give their picks. McDormand mentions East Village cafe Podunk, which Gothamist visited and enjoyed very much. We'd also like to note that McDormand likes to conduct many interviews at the Fairway Cafe, above the supermarket. Buscemi's favorite place is Prospect Park, that jewel of a park in Brooklyn. We also know that Steve likes the Haagen-Dazs on Seventh Avenue in the Slope; in a very Fargo moment, a friend wondered who that freaky looking guy who looked all messed up was before realizing it was Steve Buscemi, after being attacked when he tried to intervene in one of Vince Vaughn's bar brawls.

Yeah great, and I live on 6th street just a block over from Steve, and see him like daily. What's the big deal people. Let's leave Steve alone and let him be. Probably one of the reasons he stays in the Slope is because people leave him alone...

I almost ran Steve Buscemi over at the Seventh Avenue F stop. He's out and about in Park Slop quite a bit. I've often seen John Turturro as well.

Funny you should post on this. I saw Steve Buscemi on 7th Avenue in Park Slope the other day. Or at least I thought that I did.

good god.. for a minute there I thought you were comparing the looks of the two saying how alike they look. And for a moment, I was almost convincing myself to agree!

Hey, how about a posting about the accumulation of snow fall? I've spent bits and pieces of the day trying to find a chart or graph or something, with no success. Gothamist, rescue me!
