While it's possible for most any news stories to make it the top right image block on NYTimes.com (images rotate throughout the day), Gothamist would like nothing more than a big photograph of Andre 3000 and Big Boi wearing something crazy (i.e., something they would usually wear) above the fold on the print edition after day after the Grammys.
Grammy nominations are announced: Beyoncé, Jay-Z, OutKast and the Neptunes' Pharrell Williams have six nominations each; Missy Elliott, Eminem, Evanescence, 50 Cent, the Neptunes' Chad Hugo, Ricky Skaggs, Justin Timberlake, Luther Vandross and Warren Zevon have five each. We'll wait for Coolfer to react to the Black Eyed Peas' record of the year nomination for "Where is the Love" (other nominees include Beyoncé and Jay-Z's "Crazy in Love, Coldplay's "Clocks," Eminem's "Lose Yourself" and OutKast's "Hey Ya!").

I think the headline should read:
CORPORATE ROCK REACHES NEW LEVELS OF MASTURBATORY SUCKING! BUY MORE CDS NOW LEMMINGS!
Outkast put on a good a show a few years back at Columbia. Plus, they were all wearing pimped out fur coats in 75 degree weather. They rock!
Congratulations to Fountains of Wayne, whose debut album came out in '96, on being nominated for Best New Artist.
haha, i know frank, i thought that was so funny. i remember fountains of wayne's "i wanna sink to the bottom with you, i wanna sink to the bottom with you, the ocean is big and blue, i wanna sink to the bottom with youuuuuuu". best new artist, HA!
Alrightalrightalrightalrightalrightalrightalrightalrightalrightalrightalrightalrightalrightalrightalrightalrightalrightalrightalrightalrightalrightalrightalrightalrightalrightalright. Alright already!
Contemporary music has entered a "dark ages" much like the early 1960's, from which we can only hope it will someday emerge.
I kinda love Outkast, and wish both Andre 3000 and Big Boi (though I HATE when little gay boys think they're all cute and sh*t by calling themselves "boi") only the best. Same goes for Missy.
Andre 3000's Love Below, his half of the latest Outkast album, is the most brilliant thing I have heard all year.
When accepting her "Best New Artist" award Shelby Lynn commented on her previous five albums and the many years of hard work. New artists are only new to the many out-of-step Grammy voters who rarely take the Eagles' Greatest Hits out of the cassette player.
