<description>&lt;p&gt;Yikes! This is the lawsuit that won&apos;t die. The family was about to call it quits a few weeks ago because they couldn&apos;t afford the legal bills.

Iropnically, it all came about because Disney got the Mickey Mouse Protection Act (i.e. the Sonny Bono Copyright Term Extension Act or CTEA) passed before Steamboat Willie passed into the public domain. Part of the act had the new term extensions revert back to the author&apos;s heirs which pissed off the people who had bought the rights from them in the 50s.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
