When Parents of Stars Run For Office

With Kentucky Representative Ken Lucas announcing his retirement, father-of-George Nick Clooney will run for that Congressional seat. Clooney will be taking a leave of absence from his column for the Cincinnati Post (which he's been writing for the past 15 years). But elder Clooney is also familiar to many as a host for AMC when AMC was good, showing classics and without commercials. Regarding George's possible help in fundraising, Clooney said, "I certainly hope my son will contribute the $2,000 allowed."
