I followed the case by reading through transcripts of the events in court as they were released, and all I can say is there was NEVER any way that Michael Jackson was going to get put in jail.

No, no, no. These tiring defenses that Michael is "just a little different, have you no tolerance?" OR "isn't he innocent until proven guilty" just don't work anymore.

God knows we've seen enough corroborating evidence (strange that after a decade, a second boy writes SUCH similar experiences as the first boy, which corroborates EXACTLY into MJ's own stated viewpoints on camera. Yes, yes, MJ may get off on legal technicalities and kudos to his lawyers if they can manage it. But anyone with a lick of sense and logic can put the pieces together here, after reading the depositions already in the public domain. Let's not forget that we live in a judicial environment where people are often convicted on the basis of circumstantial evidence alone AND THAT IS ACCEPTED.

But irrespective of what the end result is from a legal standpoint, MJ has been judged guilty in the eyes of average Americans on the basis of quite a number of pieces of evidence. He is already scorned not just by a few, but by the vast majority of Americans, judging from the polls. AND THUS: The most important trial in MJ's life is ALREADY over!
