Argentine Tonight at Galapagos

One night almost a year ago, Gothamist was going to see Arctic Square play at the Knitting Factory. In one of those freak acts of nature and plumbing, the Knitting Factory was flooded, so we missed seeing Arctic Square as well as Argentine. Argentine is a local band that specializes in expansive dreamy rock (some say "mix of Nick Drake/Mojave 3 & Echo and the Bunnymen"), is playing at Galapagos – 9:30PM sharp. Also on the bill is Jeff London, a Brooklyn folk-pop singer.

Stream Argentine's album, In Other Fictions (recorded in Chinatown AND Long Island City), here.
